INFORMATION:

 

Upper Weight Camp

Date - June 16th - June 20th

 

In the Upper weight camp, you will learn the techniques of 6 great upper weight wrestlers.  The Simpson College coaching staff and wrestlers will be there as clinicians and counselors to help give each individual the personal attention that it takes to become a great upper weight.  Please show up to the camp ready and in shape to wrestle.  This camp will concentrate on instruction and drilling for beginning to advanced wrestlers.  It will cover techniques and drills from the feet, top and bottom positions.  Wrestlers will also receive information on conditioning, weight lifting, nutrition, and goal setting.  This camp is open to anyone age 10 to 18 years old. 

 

We welcome ALL SIZES but we specialize in upper-weight wrestling.

 

What to Bring - Resident campers should bring: blankets, sheets or sleeping bag, pillow, towels, toiletries, and alarm clock. All Campers should bring practice equipment: Wrestling and running shoes, T-shirts, shorts, socks,  knee pads, headgear and spending money.

 

Cut - off: We can ONLY accept the first 200 resident campers.  Don’t miss out and register today.

 

Camp Prices:

 

Resident Camper: $550

Non-Resident Camper: $370

 

$200 deposit required (Non-refundable).  Balance due at check-in.

 

Register before May 31st, 2019 to secure your spot in camp.

 

Register for camp before December 31st, 2018 and get $50 off your camp.

 

Coaches Discount:  Coaches, if you bring a group of 7 campers or more you will come for free.  Both the entrance fee and your room and board will be waived.

 

Coaches: Coaches can attend the camp but CANNOT stay in the dorms unless you have 7 campers or more.  There are local hotels close to the university that you can stay in.  The cost for coaches to attend the camp is $200.

 

Meals and lodging:  Resident campers will be housed in college residence halls (double occupancy).  A $30.00 key deposit is required.  Money will be returned when the key is turned in.  The deposit will be added to your registration price when you register online.  If you have a roommate preference, write the name of that person in the designated area when your register online.  Meals will be served in a cafeteria “all you can eat” three times a day.  Non-resident campers can purchase a meal plan for the camp.

 

Supervision and Rules: Participant will be supervised during all organized times and in the dormitory.  Campers will be required to attend all assigned activated and instruction sessions.  Those enrolled in the camp must comply with all rules and regulations governing conduct of the students on campus.  Any violations or abuse of these rules will be cause immediate dismissal from the camp without a refund.

 

Simpson College, camp staff and anyone connected with the camp assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, medical or dental expenses incurred during the camp.
